Silicone oil 3845 (Crude)
【Brief introduction】
The 3845 amino silicone softener silicone oil is suitable for the preparation of microemulsion, so that it can be applied to all kinds of woven or knitted fabrics, so that it has soft touch.
【General Usage】
Amino silicone oil is widely used in fiber and fabric softening finishing, spinning oils, hair conditioners and household detergents, and in washing, printing and dyeing, cotton, polyester, silk, wool, rayon, linen washing industry.
【Characteristics】
Viscosity(25℃): 800-5000 (test by Brookfield Cone & Plate)
Nitrogen content: 0.32-0.42% (titrated with perchloric acid
Solid content: ≥95% (2g/1h/150 degrees Celsius or 302 degrees Fahrenheit)
【Application method】
The following is the initial emulsification formula:
3845: 15% phase micro-emulsion was prepared by phase change emulsification.
Recommended starting formula:

Amino silicone oil emulsifier 7.5
Phase change water 7
Diluted water 70. 25
Glacial acetic acid 0.25
* emulsifier of amino silicone oil is made up of various surfactants.
Emulsification method:
1. Add 3845 silicone oil, amino silicone oil with emulsifier and water and mix for 45 minutes, evenly dilute, and finally make a transparent product, emulsification or not greatly affected.
2. add 3 times water to dilute for 45 minutes.
3. add acetic acid and stir for 20 minutes. Finally, transparent and stable micro-emulsion should be obtained.
3845 silicone oil emulsion can be applied to woven, braided, cotton and polyester cotton blended fabrics by dip rolling. In order to obtain the best performance with the highest cost-effectiveness, 0.5-0.7% silicone oil to fabric weight ratio should be used.
